lab64
The EE Department has an electronics Maker space called lab64. It provides a place, tools, expertise, and a community centered on extracurricular projects that involve computing hardware, software, and electronics.
No experience is needed to start in the lab. We provide training and access to laser cutters, 3D printers, soldering irons, soft robotics technologies, as well as mentorship to students working on projects.
lab64 is open to all members of the Stanford community and is one of the only places on campus with system design capabilities and tools.
Many folks find that lab64's more flexible style, immediacy, and interdisciplinary capabilities fit well with their schedules and needs.
The lab64 website is lab64
